The plastic had that replica DC plastic look, I figured you would know but was secretly hoping it was O'Show's real deal just restored.

Oh look at the hump welded to the gas tank. That big bore need extra fuel for 20 minutes and Saddleback or wherever that happened. I remember reading about it.

I totally spaced off resizing that Roger D photo, resized for your viewing pleasure
Re: Classic MX Bike Photos
That 250 Stormer is a conundrum. The fuel tank is one of the fuggliest things... yet the bike is one of the most beautiful things...

Re: Classic MX Bike Photos
I just love motorcycles past and present and i feel blessed being able to own some of these iconic bikes. Best of all i have been able to meet many of the racers who have rode some of my bikes, there is nothing better than sitting down and talking for hours to former world champions from the 50`s, 60`s, 70`s and 80`s, in a way that is actually better than the bikes themselves. But unfortunately time marches on and many have passed but i still have their stories and bikes until it`s my time.shiftpro wrote:Funny how the Greeves looks like the suspension is compressed even sitting on the stand.

Is that gusset on the Monark stock? That's some scary looking welding.
Anyway everything else is amazing, including your stories and experiences.
Yeah sometimes at the end of the day all we have left is the hammer.
I wish I was there to help....

"i feel blessed being able to own some of these iconic bikes"
Well sir I feel blessed that I know you at least through online forums. I was a bit younger than you back in those days but my mind and heart were well captive just as yours was(is). I never had the opportunity to get closer,
as you did. So you are kind of a 'bridge' for guys like me. Ok enough strokes....
